A much needed break!

Bec and I enjoyed three days free from work the last few days. We have been so tired from work that all we did was a whole lot of nothing. It was wonderful. We drove in on Sunday night and stayed at my parents house. It was good to see them. We got in kind of late and went to bed pretty quickly, and slept about 10 hours! When we woke up we decided to call the pregnancy resource center in Woodland Park because a coworker told us that we could probably get a free ultrasound if we called to set up an appointment. They said they could fit us in right away so we got to see our little one on Monday morning for the first time. It was the most amazing thing. He was an active little thing, doing flips and somersaults. It really was amazing. Its so incredible that we were able to see our child who is only six inches long inside of bec's womb. It was wonderful. God is good to us! Here is an ultrasound picture. If you can't tell what's going on, the baby's head is the circle in the center, and he's kind of looking down and to the right. The hands are just little blips barely in view down and to the right of the head.

Right before our little break, I finished the bed that I've been making for Bec. We're pretty happy with the way it turned out. I'd love to keep making furniture for us, but there's not really any room left in our small apartment! Oh well, some day maybe we'll have a little more room. We like our little home for now. I'm sure it will feel really cozy once we have our little one to share it with!
