Our Little One!!!

Yesterday Bec and I went into town for her 12 week appointment. Pretty much as soon as the nurse walked into the room, she had the doppler and was trying to hear the baby's heart beat. She warned us that she might not be able to find it because we weren't quite 12 weeks along, but about the same time she was saying that she picked up the sound!! How exciting. It's amazing that God is really knitting together a human inside of Bec. He is so good to us. Hearing the heartbeat really was so exciting... it kind of made the whole pregnancy feel more real to me. Amazing.

Not nearly as exciting as hearing the heartbeat of our baby, but still pretty exciting to me; I put in the last bit of effort needed to complete our coffee table today! Its fun to have completed the project. I really enjoyed working on it over the last two years. It sounds like it took me a long time, and it seemed like it did, but if you added up all the time I was actually working on it, it probably adds up to less than a month. I'm excited to start on a new project. Bec found a bed frame in a catalog that we both really liked, so I think I'll try and tackle it hopefully soon!
